The start ending loneliness is through true, intentional connection. Sometimes we have to take responsibility and initiative to be the first one to reach out to those we are in relationship with. This month we are focusing on the relationships that you have in your life. Who do you or can you have connection with? How long does it take you to send a simple “I care about you” text? Dial a phone number? Sometimes someone’s loneliness is erased through something as simple as a “Hey, you are someone I care about and if you ever need anything, I am here.”

I am Mariah! I am a high school junior and used to be a mean girl. Since then, I have learned to see people for who they really are and build relationships with them. I have experienced some difficult times in my life, but finding connection with others has helped me through those hard times. I love wrestling for school. And I enjoy connecting with my community while working at my Aunt’s coffee shop!
